This is a fantastic opportunity to join the one of the largest suppliers of testing equipment for the construction industry in the world with offices in 9 different Countries. Due to an increased demand in their markets our client requires an enthusiastic Sales & Operations Administrator to join their team based in Tring, Hertfordshire.

Handling customer enquires from quotation entry to shipment booking from UK and Italy premises, excluding commercial negotiation.

Full description:

Enter sales quotes on internal system and submit to customer in a timely manner.
Validate sales quote against order details prior to processing.
Enter/process order on internal systems.
Tender Administration.
Send orders to procurement team in Italy.
Manage sales order acknowledgments and distribute internally.
Internal & external management of letters of credit, bank guarantees and documentary collections.
Book shipments with freight forwarders.
Collate logistic documentation.
Liaise with customers on order progress.
Carry-out related office administrative tasks.

Experience:

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate that they are a quick learner, with proven initiative to work both on their own and within a team.
Be a great communicator.
Be organised and able to work to a dead-line in a busy environment.

Essential Criteria:

High standard of both written and spoken English.
Highly proficient with the use of MS Office suite including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Team player.
Experience in Sales and Operations Administration.
Experience in dealing with customers over phone.
A capability of being able to think on their feet.
Punctual and professional.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience in Export Logistics (International shipping, administration and documentation)
Experience in handling letters of credit, bank guarantees & other international banking processes .
Export administration experience.
Experience in industrial sector.
