Our client a leading manufacturer and supplier of Medical equipment is seeking an Electrical Repairs Technician the role will be based at their repairs Centre in Hemel Hempstead Hertfordshire.

You will be joining a team of three people based in their Service and Repair Workshop the role is to carryout Service/Repair and commissioning on a wide range of equipment.

Main Duties

Ensure required turnaround times are achieve for all repairs.
Complete all product and process training as required.
Completion of all mandatory technical processes relating to repairs as detailed in test certificates and service manuals.
Ensure all data is correctly updated on test certificates / calibration certificates / databases.
Preparation of technical repair reports as required by the customer.
Completion of all service orders to ensure accurate quotation and invoice creation.
Ensure material requirement’s are entered onto the service order accurately.
Ensure correct handling of spare parts to ensure stock accuracy is maintained at all times.
Full compliance with health and safety within the workshop always.
Take a proactive approach to improving workshop efficiency and safety.
Understanding of COSHH requirements within the workshop.

You will have

ONC/HNC in Electronic Engineering.
Some experience of working in a workshop preference will be made for experience in medical devices.
Good communication skills both written and verbal
PC Skills
Customer focus and positive attitude to solving customer issues
