Our client are a fully funded start up company rolling out a new network in the West Country. They are looking to recruit someone from the industry to establish new locations for the network as well as ensure they maintain a safe and reliable infrastructure. This role is at the forefront of operations, which may lead on to other opportunities arising within the company. Located in Helston, there will be significant amount of travel around the West Country. The Wayleave Officer will be responsible for negotiating and resolving Wayleave easement and lease issues relating to work within the network side of the business. The post-holder will be expected to operate as an individual as well as being able to prioritise to meet demanding deadlines.
Main duties include: Successfully obtain required Wayleaves, easements and licences. Manage customer interactions with successful outcomes. Preparation of Wayleave Agreement. Terms of Wayleave Agreement. Processing of all Wayleaves. Amendments to Wayleave Agreements. Obtain difficult/more demanding Wayleaves. On site gathering. Mediate in Wayleave disputes. Resolution of Wayleave Rent Queries. Need for tree cutting services. Acquisition of Easements and leases. Ensuring prompt delivery.
To be considered you will need; Excellent communication skills; proven background dealing with planning and/or Wayleaves; understanding of Wayleave payments; understanding of planning process; working knowledge of Wayleave agreements, easements and leases; understanding of land purchase processes.
